shifter bushing issues? or clutch? turbo LSV
hi all!
last night i had noticed it was difficult to put into certain gears while driving.
I got up this morning and put it in second and tried to test the clutch but it stalled out on me...
Now I am leaning towards the shift linkage bushings.... looking for experience
do these play a huge role? or just a minor difference and what brand would you reccomend?

clutch feels somewhat normal. Its an almost OEM feel since installation on this clutch.
I had an ACT prior that was same model yet it was stiff as hell....
There is no abnormal feel to the clutch and it is hydrolic...
I have never adjusted the clutch pedal before...
is this a good write up?

I have replaced that cylinder before but I just bolted it in....

if you replaced the slave cylinder you need to bleed the clutch system...
any air in the clutch line won't allow the slave cylinder to travel properly which means you won''t disengage the clutch enough every time you shift, which can lead to premature clutch wear, throwout and pilot bearing wear, damaging the transmission, and in the worst case will cause thrust bearing wear in the motor, causing the crank to move back and forth every time you depress the clutch
adjust the clutch pedal is easy, under the dash on the clutch pedal is a threaded rod that goes into the master cylinder.. there should be a lock nut on it somewhere, loosen the lock nut an turn the threaded shaft until the pedal starts to rise (it should be about even in height with the other pedals)
doing that and bleeding the clutch system (you'll need some brake fluid on hand to make sure the master cylinder doesn't run dry while bleeding... if it does the system will suck more air into the line and you'll have to start the bleeding process over
