bad shifter bushing? shift issues
so today I was driving home and found out the shifter feels a little more loose than normal. Its not awful bad like a floppy you know what but its not as tight as i had on my old short throw(now its OEM). I feel like I am trying to fish it into gear sometimes....
New transmission
gsr with LS 5th
I checked clutch fluid, its a little dirty but full...
i feel like if i force it into gear for normal driving it will grind, but if i wait for it it will go in after a second with no problems...
scares me cuz i just spent about $1000 on this gsr tranny with an LS fifth , I do have a warranty however...
used only OEM honda manual transmission fluid.
6 puck stage 4 clutchmasters clutch installed by the tuners shop
no funny noises , what are the symptoms of flywheel bolts coming loose?
shifting feels notchy kinda , like grinding in the shifter, but not transmission gear grind.... its different

after popping the car up on the jack, i noticed where the straight shift linkage goes directly into the tranny is missing a bushing or some type of rubber cover between the tranny and the u joint on the shift linkage, would this cause issues?
No, that serves to prevent debris from getting on the shift shaft and ruining the oil seal that it is supposed to protect. The shift pattern bushings (the other rod) is more responsible for shift feel. Replacing these with harder bushings will create a more positive feel.
It is also possible the shift change piece in the transmission is damaged causing poor shift feel.
