Default d15b multimatic rev limit

Hi, I have recently made an engine swap. I have a d15b with multimatic transimission on may 1994 civic. Drice modes are D, S1 and S2. I tried S1 and the rev limit is just below 5k rpm. When I switched to S2, nothing changed and I was not able to reach the 7200 rev limit.

What could be the cause of the problem?

@NotARacist - I'm using P27 ecu. The EK3 arrived as half cut here in Manila from Japan. We pulled out the engine completely including the complete harness, ecu, steering wheel, gauge and shift then installed in in my 1994 civig EG sedan.

I already called my auto electrician and he will check again the wiring on Dec 9.

There's a new problem I am encountering, the check engine lights up when I use S1. There's also one time it showed up even when just in D mode. It only shows when the RPM reaches 3k rpm and above.

Is this a 3 stage vtec with multimatic? s2 is the second sport mode that lets you take it all the way to 7k rpms and allows the car for faster acceleration. Make sure the mmt is wired up correctly.

BTW can I get pics of engine bay? Who did the the wiring? Wow this is very interesting.

tony_2018 - It was wired by one of the trusted electricians here in Manila. He will check my car again tomorrow to see what's wrong.

Here are the pics.

The electrician came and was able to figure out the check engine light problem. The O2 sensor was not attached firmly.

As for the S2 mode reaching 7k rpm, there was no place near where we can test if it is okay already.

Looks like your car came with it from the factory. P27 ecu? This will be interesting.

Can you show me the upper transmission mount? Also it doesn't look like the p27 is the correct ecu for the motor.
