stealth Skunk2 Ultra DC2 install
I'm way too old and old school for a dyno, a tune the car using a set piece of road and a street sign, I'm up about 1.5 MPH over the distance which is about 2 MPH in the 1/4 mile or something like .1 to .2 of a second. This would be for: 68mm TB, 3" intake tube (I know it looks stock), and the Skunk2 IM, say an average of 10 HP over the range on my last tune. My chipped ECU is being failing and so I may just install an oldschool adjustable fuel pressure regulator and tune till MPH no longer increases. Power seems broader, with more peak to a higher RPM, I have a 8800 fuel cut.

please don't.. we get it already. this is totally irrelevant to the information he was posting.you young guys have to start learning when to let things go
I don't care for their some of their customer support, but your statement about their R&D is incorrect. I was given a private tour of their facility (including R&D) earlier this year and it (R&D department) was impressive.
Tongue-in-cheek. I realize that they actually develop some of their own parts instead of sticking a badge on them (but don't think they don't do this, either), but considering some of the utter crap that company has released in the past 10 years, their R&D still has a long way to go.

So i know on boosted applications a larger intake plenum is desired based on the volume of air forced into the engine. I'm guessing the tapered smaller intake plenum is designed to get the air into the engine faster on an NA application?
Still...I'd love to see a dyno of a stock ITR intake manifold vs the Skunk2 intake manifold on an otherwise stock-ish B18c5.
If you seriously build a n/a B series motor, then some aftermarket IM's will show an increase at higher RPMS (over 8K). Otherwise, the TB/IM mod is useless.
No, you can't. But you CAN see the gains that this manifold produces. Without any data, all this thread does is have nice pictures to look at. That's it.
Anyone that knows anything about fluid dynamics will tell you this s2 mani is a better flowing design than the stock piece. The question now is by how much
I am running into an issue that is probably more related to the 68mm TB, which is the minimum that SK2 says to use. Every once in a while I get a check engine light MAP signal low. It would seem that with the larger TB, the pulsing in the intake manifold the ECU gets confused as to why the vacuum is to so low and / or changing at small throttle settings. I'm on the stock ECU with the FP set at 58 PSI. I need to smog the car this month. Other that that the car runs fine.
I'm still having issues with my chipped ECU, maybe the capacitor??? Gotta change them all out again.

Call Skunk2. I'm sure they have readily-available technical papers on their products, no?

You always come into a thread with a "know it all" attitude.
Most of the posts I see of yours in this forum is always to the negative or are worded very derogatory. It's not always what you say but how you say it. C'mon man!
If I'm in a thread and I see Todd was posting, I always read his posts. He always has the best way of putting people in their place, in a flawless manner at that. And he usually knows what he's talking about. I bet if we knew him personally he's probably a pretty funny dude. If he doesn't work in the auto industry, I'd love to know what he does for a living.
and this is why there is so much crap. there is always a know it all somebody who is always right especially in the itr section...some people walk around with their nose in the air
