99 crv daily
hello all,
This year I sold my previous legacy wagon and picked up an s2000, after driving the s2000 for the summer I decided to pick up a bigger car for winter and to take over daily driving duties.
Its a 1999 crv 5 speed with leather and sunroof. it wasn't in too bad shape but needed a little TLC
The legacy, still miss it

Now the CRV, picked it up bone stock a couple weeks ago

Then did a full clean up of it, lowered it and painted the bumpers (always liked the SE style CRVs) and red out tail lights with smoked reverse lights, at the same time I also smoked the bumper reflectors.

And most recently, added some JDM parts, changed the grille and added the OEM rear spoiler oh and prelude wheels for winter

and a little flavour

I had Yonaka coilovers on my DC2 and they were pretty decent for the price. Not super high end awesome, but a great value. I'm planning on a set for the 99 EX I just picked up as well.
Where did you find the JDM parts and spoiler?

thanks fellas,
As far as the Yonakas go, they were a great inexpensive option when I was shopping and I figure its only a daily driver so id try them out.
They can be adjusted about 4" in height, I have it set about mid way.
the ride isnt bad, its much firmer than stock but drives pretty well.
I got the window visors shipped from japan and the spoiler was a lucky find on kijiji

Looking good. Judging by the Legacy I can tell you'll make this CRV real dope.
For those discussing the taillights.. I did a small right up on tinting them opposed to vinyl. Cost is nearly the same.

well, despite the below 0 temps I decided I couldnt wait any longer and I threw the new summers on
specs are
17x8 +48 front
17x9 +46 rear with a 20mm spacer (was necessary to clear but maybe could have gotten away with a 10mm)
225/45/17 tires all around

Thanks for the tip about the washers! ive always hated that sagging look
The wheels are branded supernova but I got them just because they look like older Mercedes wheels, they're a mutli-piece look and just use normal lugnuts though
the plan is to lower the rear a little when its warmer out
