That's right. Lol looks like I found a shop around the corner from my house. He's the owner of the shop and is really into the whole honda acura lifestyle. I'm gonna have him do everything I want. He says hell do anything anyone wants.

Buahahahahahahhahahaaa it's called boring and honing. You bore out the cylinders to a bigger diameter and hone the cylinder walls to create a better sealing surface for the piston rings.

A roll cage? You don't.

Safety features are all or nothing. No way you need a cage for any class you'd be running with a stock block, so don't bother. If you run a cage, you have to use proper seats, harnesses, remove the air bags, and wear a helmet, always. Running a cage on stock seats and belts with no helmet is a fast way to get dead. Ever seen a skull that made contact with a cage? It isn't pretty.

...are you going to wear a helmet EVERY TIME you drive the car? Sparco, or find a local machinist who will do the work for you, or go to your local race track and talk to the guys who actually HAVE cages on their actual RACE cars and see where they had it done.

Seriously, don't be stupid. When your head hits a roll cage without a helmet, you will probably die.

"This guy" has forgotten more about cars than you've ever learned, and is trying to help you not do something stupid to get yourself (or a passenger) seriously hurt, or killed.

On a stock D/B block? I'm going to go ahead and call bullshit. High 10's takes 500+ WHP, and 500+ WHP with any semblance of reliability takes forged internals and sleeves on a D or B series motor.

So far, I haven't seen a single piece of information to indicate that OP should even be considering a cage. Nothing about it being a dedicated track car, nothing about power goals, nothing about power goals. If he's doing it for "bling factor", then whatever - get some eBay ****, bolt it in, and stop worrying about it. If he's doing it for structural integrity, there are better ways to get it that don't involve cutting up the interior, or ripping it all out to get it professionally welded in, or cracking your skull open and leaving little chunks of your brain on the sidewalk.

If you aren't going to listen to advice from people with MUCH more experience than you, why are you even on a forum asking questions?
