Hey friends , I am new to this forum . I don't know any better place to ask this question then here . I have never brought my car to the 1/4 . Was just wondering a general idea of a 1/4 Time I should be running . I will get straight to it .

I have an 1995 EG Coupe trunk is stripped and so is back seats . It weighs approximately 940 kilograms ( 2072 pounds ) . Type r head , b18b1 block and LS Tranny . Car was dynod at 205 horsepower and 170 ft pounds of torque @ 94 Octane . I was thinking my car could run mid 13's what do you guys think ?

 

Go take it to a track to find out

Bench racing usually doesn't get a response

 

Just get a good 60 ft.

That's a lot of torque for only 205whp. Must be really restricted up top or could be the tune

You guys are not the first to not believe the torque numbers . I just wanted to know what time I would be looking at because I've seen some LS/VTECs with only 230 horsepower running like 11 seconds . They are stripped though completely my car is not stripped so I was wondering If I would be looking at mid 12's with slicks .

 

Don't get me wrong I believe the torque numbers are probable. I just can't seem to understand why such low whp with those tq numbers is all.

I'll guess some good driving(1.70?) on some 22x8x13's would get you a 12.6-12.9.
