Default Will d15b7 crankshaft fit in a d16y8?

I have a d15b7 crankshaft will it fit in a d16y8 or do I have to buy a d16y8 crankshaft?

They are different.

-D15 has a shorter stroke than the D16: 84.5mm compared to 90mm.
-Rods are also shorter, 134mm for the D15 (except D15Z1) and 137mm for the D16.

It's different. D16Y7/D16Y8 is the same. D16Z6 is different but fits (twice the oiling holes per journal so less chance of a spun bearing) '89 - '91 D16A6 is also works, '88 only has a different crank snout and you'll get into issues with the timing cover and crank pulley.
