i have an 89 Civic hb and I'm rebuilding the engine (everything stock) and i want to rebuild it so that it's strong and healthy and goes strong for another 300,000 miles . it's a d16a6. is there a good website or websites that provide stock parts for this engine?

ebay or dealership. however, you may not need to re bore your engine. when i rebuilt my a6 i had my machine shop check the bore out of round and taper, and was within in spec, tiny bit loose, but was better than what i expected for a car that had lived a very hard life

 

Definitely check ebay out. Definitely find OEM parts on there. Not sure if majestic honda or any of the online parts dealers would have them.

That or you can sort of ask people around your area? There are a ton of people in the OC area on these forums. Someone can suggest a good shop for you.
