Default 4th gen malfunctioning power door locks

The 4th gen has a recall for defective power door locks. I am a victim of this unfortunately, anyone else out there?

Let me talk to my roommate, his family owns a honda/acura dealership. Since it is a recall, they should cover it. But you know how honda is...

My drivers door just got retarded on me about a week ago. I pulled the panel and it was a little plastic bracket connecting a rod to the exterior handle. I need to goto Honda and replace it, does anyone know if you can purchase a little part like this sperately? I hope I'm not in a position where I have to buy a $20-$40 part just for a $.02 plastic bracket.
