~~~ pneumatic fittings & hose info ? ~~~
I've used search engine with not much results.
Q:
1) is there online shop that makes a "pneumatic fittings/hose kit" ?
2) what size hose (i.d) & fittings should I get?
3) anything special I should know/consider before ordering parts?
what type of pneumatic fitting are you looking?
There's a infinity of materials and seal connection types in the pneumatic branch.
i.e. thread x compression
thread x push lock
thread x but weld
thread x thread
Push lock x o-ring
ETC.
materials
S/S
BRZ
TFE
alloy 20
And various polymers
You can check on:
Parker
swagelock
Dixon valves & pneumatic.
And maybe Hoke.
There are a lot more but in the pharmacy industry this is what I use.
wtf i had no idea it was that complicated.
I'm talking about the "push on" boost line fittings ..... only a few guys in mn run them so i haven't had a chance to get a clean look at them.
You are talking about the regular PBT nylon fitting that is used with nylon, polyethylene or polypro lines. They coming in push lock both sides or push lock by thread.
I really bought them from valves and fittings specialty companies.
But I bought it in nylon and TFE in hardwares and paint shops for my personal use.
Try some valve and fitting company near your area (they sell it more expensive).
ebay have a good list of them and the tubing either, look at: pneumatic push connect fittings.
1/4" tubing w/ 1/8npt fittings are the standard. Mcmaster/carr sells the fittings, or they can be found on ebay as well
