What fittings???????Please help
What size fittings do I use for a GE vacuum manifold?
I thought they were 1/8 ntp thread but the brass ones I bought today only screw in one turn.
Also I was reading this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1263795
This guy says to use 1/4ntp thread side and 1/8 barbed side???
So which fitting do I need.
Also should what should the barb side size be for the blow off valve, wastegate and boost gauge?
Thanks

Re: What fittings???????Please help (dizzyek)
hey take it easy...it nothing but fittings....each fitting comes threaded on one side with 1/4 thread and the barbed fitting is on the other side where the hose slides on (this is all on ONE fitting)...the barbed fitting could be either 1/4 or 1/8 for whatever application u want...its a choice when you go to a hardware store....for exmaple some FPR's come with 1/4 fittings so you wanna make it simple and run that 1/4 hose to a 1/4 barbed fitting on the vacum manifold....most apps on your car would be 1/4 like wg, bov....etc
the source size is am not sure what size the brake booster hose is!

thanks for the reply
i was just confused because the instructions said 1/8ntp fittings.
So when I go back to the hardware store just get 1/4 ntp fitting to whatever barb size I need.

Re: (dizzyek)
exactly! but it would help if you take teh vac manifold with you there to double check that it is 1/4! if it GE or Fast Turbo version they are 1/4, but some poeple buy them off ebay or even custom make them!
