Default Integra stuck in park.

I have an 01 Integra four door and the past few weeks mostly when its cold (I live in Colorado) it likes to get stuck in park. I tried shift lock release and nothing, but tonight it wasn't coming out of park at all and I turned my lights on and it came out after 5 mins of messing with it. Maybe just coincidence but it was odd. I know this thread has been made before but I didnt want to bump an old thread. Any suggestions of how to fix it or if any insight if the lights had anything to do with it or if my car is just being a stubborn bitch. Thanks!

Check your fuse box for the neutral safety switch. If that's bad you won't be able to remove your vehicle from park. Also, if your battery is low it may cause this. But your best bet is to check that fuse.
