i cant complain about the miles not adding up but my speed o meter thing is
not reading the speed.... i put a cluster from a diff civic, it was working fine for a bit but then my fuel pump went and i was messing with the fuses did i forget to put a fuse back... i dont have a fuse guide thing .. i lost it =P (thing under dash)...any
one have any ideas ?? or have a fuse guide pic =P any help will be greatful....

I'm sure someone can help with a diagram, but you need to let us know what year and model the civic is.

 

i dont have a diagram handy and its cold as ***** outside but i do know that the BACKUP fuse does control the speedo and everything on the dash.. if that fuse is blown then nothing will work.. anybody got a diagram to help him out???

alt sp sensor or vss fuse is probibly popped, i think it is in the middle row 4-5 fuses in from the left

 

i fell asleep last night...ima take a pic of the fuse box this afternoon....thans for the help guys.....

 

94' E to the G

 

I didn't know there was a fuse for the VSS. Is this under the hood or under the dash?? What is it called??

 

Make sure that the plug on the top towards the back of the tranny is plugged in. I know if it is no plugged in till it clicks the speedometer and the odometer will not work.

 

If you live in the USA, it's 94 E to the H. I doubt you have a RHD, but I could be wrong.
