Hi guys, a few month back my integra gsr 98 spec a hesitation issue when the car reach working temperature,when i start the car or cold start rpm stay at 800-900 rpm and when it gets hot or working temp. goes up to 1500 rpm, also i was bleeding the cooling system and i notice that my fans are not working, i have a p73 jdm ecu right now because mine was stolen, when running and the car is cool runs just fine but when it gets hot start hesitating and have huge power loss, with the old ecu the was a code, secondary O2 sensor to be exact, do you think that is was causing it/ i already replace;

wire
spark
tps
cleaned iacv
cap
rotor
changed fuel filter,
check my fuel pressure
timming is ok
valves are ok

also theres no code, i dont know if is bc of the ecu ,


pleaase any ideas will be apreciated, im desperate because im going to boosted on feb. and also i cant use the car like this,

Get the right ecu, p73 is type r ecu i believe. When you had the right ecu, did you have the same issues?

 

yes ! same issue, that was when i was able to get the O2 sensor code, the car behaved the same way that now..... i cant get a p72 in my contry, i thought maybe the coolant sensor might have problem and maybe replace the sensor......

 

I would say the problem is in your distributor. My 98 gsr would start missing and lose power due to icm. Replaced the entire distributor and problem was solved.

 

Actually I had to replace the module that read the Rpm, I've been thinking that it might be the problem, I'm going to try borrowing one

 

Iacv is prolly bad?

 

when the car was stalling i try to hit the IACV to see if was caught and aparently was working fine....... I did replace de ICM the car remain the same when i had the rpm problem,

 

can o2 sensor cause this problem? also i read about TDC i cant tell if my car have this sensor???
