Integra CLICKS when I make turns. advice?
I bought an integra a month ago and now the clicking is finally starting to annoy me. It clicks from the front end of my car. My friend suggested the axle but he didn't do much inspection. It does not click when I'm driving, only when I'm making a left turn and sometimes right turn. Any ideas? First post on this site, let's see how helpful this spot is.
Definitely your axle. Check them to see if boot is torn etc.
My axle is doing the same thing, I just haven't replaced it yet.

ive had mates repack the boot with grease then duct tape it up
dat no clicky thoe
nah man it would jus be you C.V joint's. id say theres a crack in the boot and it out of grease. It's very easy to diagnose, which show's you dont have to much expierence.. best to send it into the shop and get them to do it. (it's a messy job)
What you need to do to cut cost down
jack the car up. Safety first! and for ease of veiw take the tyre off. then inspect rubber boot of the end's of the axle
if you find there cracked (should be tell tale grease sign's) take a note, and buy yourself the replacement part. the parts store should help.
take new parts to your mechanic and job should be done that day if he has time

Could also be cheap auto parts store axles if boots aren't torn or not that old. Had a buddy buy some autozone axles and 6months later they were clicking again.

I only recommend a boot replacement if you notice a crack/hole in your boot in a dry climate (no road salt) , damage is already done if its clicking .. its quite literally a ticking time bomb, since its already clicking then I would replace the shaft , preferably with oem, but if you choose to go the parts store route , just make sure you don't mind doing it again withing a couple years or less, and be sure the axle has a warranty(lifetime)

Has anyone ever just gotten a 2 piece boot?
Wrong, it's an easy job with hand tools.
