Default Axle / CV Joint clicking! and its NEW...Help...

Hey, I just got my driver-side axle replaced for my b18c1, it was clicking before, so i got a new one, and installed it. Now, there is more clicking than before. i turn slight right, clicking, all the way right, loud clicking, slight left, not much, all the way, lots. I have a Y80 Trans, and put a 92 Integra CV Axle in, any suggestions on how I can fix the clicking.

is it from autozone? if it is, then thats probably why.

was the car in a front end collision?

couple possibilities that i can think of:

car was hit in the front and the alignment of the motor to the knuckles is off. ive seen this problem on a friends car.

maybe you changed the wrong axle? are you sure it was coming from the driver side CV? ive seen people change the wrong axle before.

the reman axle could also be bad. also happens frequently.

well, do you think a front wheel alignment would help? suspension and axles have been changed, and I have not gotten an alignment done yet.

are you running a half shaft from a 90-93 integra or from a 94+ integra?

gotta use the DA halfshaft for those axles... alot of times people forget that they are different from the DC's.. using a DC halfshaft one axle will fit fine and the other will be loose.. This could cause the driver's side to wear quickly or almost immediatly

i am not positive, all I know is that when the part was ordered, it was for a 92 integra, is this something I can do as far as putting the car up on a lift, and trying to fix it myself, or should i find out everything about the axle, and see if i need a new one? I didn't put this axle on because my father had the car for a day, and he had everything that I had wrong with the car (breaks, ball joint for drivers side, axle) fixed. So....i don't have a good idea of what is going on. probably should get my **** straight and post it. maybe tomorrow.
