engine mounts
ever since i put the prothane insert inside the tranny mount 50805-s04-000 my entire car vibrates violently at idle but only at idle
i actually kind of like the vibration because it makes having sex in the car better
anyways, i still have two more mounts to do. the one near the PS pump 50824-s04-013 and the rear tbracket/firewall 50810-sr3-030
but the PS pump one desperately needs to be replaced because not only did i completely round the bolt at the top of the mount that connected it to the engine. but a chunk/block of rubber broke off of the mount because its so old and dry rotted. so one of my questions is should i buy oem replacement 50824-s04-013 (~$160!) or can i get an aftermarket oem spec like motorking
i honestly wouldn't mind spending a little more money to get good quality polyurethane mounts instead of stupid inserts. or should i just get a tube of polyurethane and go crazy with my oem mounts?
but what about the 'hydraulic' mount is it important to go geniune oem for that? what does the hydraulic even do i dont understand is that the most important mount in dampening the vibration or what?
i just want a nice smooth idle and a good solid connection between my engine and frame
sry for rambling but ive been holding off on this for weeks because i dunno what i want to do. i dont have that much money to spend on this
fyi i have polyurethane inserts inside 3 mounts so far the two lower ones and the tranny one as mentioned above
what are your opinions on motorking?

4 cylinder engines by nature produce a great deal of imbalance, the stiffer the rubber, the more vibration is transmitted into the frame. Increasing idle speed will help smooth out a lot of vibration.
Which do you want, fuel usage or engine vibration? You can only isolate vibration so much, and in a Honda, you will inevitably get some. It sounds like you'd be better suited to a V6 or V8. Those consume a hell of a lot more fuel.
I think op is a girl lol what guy says something like, the vibration makes car sex better.
OP why didn't you just get 70A Hasport mounts ? they vibrate the **** out of the car
