Anyone know the sequence to bleed the brakes on an em1? I can't find it anywhere.

General rule of thumb for brake bleeding and this applies to all vehicles, start bleeding the wheel farthest from the brake master cylinder then work your way in.

 

This rule will get you on about 99% of the time. Honda wants you to finish the long circuit first. Either way works.

 

Most cars have a crossed system, so I would argue to do opposite corners first on most vehicles, that is, if you see two ports coming out of the master cylinder. If you have no air in the car and are simply flushing the old fluid out, then it doesn't matter.

 

Should have expected this, he does have a point. Most routine work is done by distance from the master, but for the sake of accuracy, this is correct.

 

Awesome guys, thanks for the help! I sold my 06 si and bought a family car (2010 Camry) and ended up buying a 2000 si last week just as something fun. Got a sweet deal because it needed a starter, iacv, back rotors, and had enough air in the brake system to scuba dive.

 

According Chilton it's

Front right>left
Rear right>left

That's closest to furthest. Makes more sense to me. I did it about 3 weeks ago and getting a vacuum bleeder made things much faster and easier.
