Default 00 Si problems after engine jumped time

Hey guys, I don't usually post stuff, but I have a 2000 SI, all stock, B16a2 320000 miles!

So the story is I was driving down the highway going like 80 and the car shutters and dies, I get it towed home and figure out it jumped timing, pull the crank pulley off and find this,

so I buy all the parts, 700 dollars worth... put it all back together,

start it, its idling weird, like shuttering but not heavy, drive it around for about 5 mins, pull into the drive way stop to back up and it just dies, but its late so I just go inside, come out the next day, start it, let it warm up, still idling weird, tap on the gas, let off and it dies, and throws a TPS and running rich code, so I replace the TPS, calibrate it, clean the Tb, still the same thing, I try a D series TB, it worked fine, not weird idle, drove fine, didn't cut off when I let off the gas, so I bought another B series TB, put it on today and the same thing, weird idle and cuts off when I let off the gas, so im stumped and need all your advice! haha, Thanks in advance

The one I bought didn't have a map sensor on it, I used my old one, but the D series tb I used already had one on it so I didn't bother changing it

I think he meant could you have gotten the plugs reversed

ok, I see you put a new timing belt. The time is dead on?

When you disassembly all the first time, did you check the timing before to see if it was jumped?

Do you Perform a compression test to see if you have damaged valves?

slightly vent valves can lead to poor idle and overly rich condition by faulty sealing seats.

why wouod you do a compression test when you said all was fine with a d series tb? im confused.

and your reply was confusing too.
so d series tb and d series map it was fine? stock tb with stock map not fine?

I would check just for peace of mind, and yeah a D series worked fine, but my stock B series doesn't

Yes... so from deductive reasoning it would seem that its your b series map sensor?

swapped the map sensor today with a known good one and the problem remains, I also checked compression, which was 170, 150, 165, and 180.

A few hundred more dollars and you could have bought another long block with less mileage.

^yes....but the car has 320k miles. Plus that much compression delta by itself wouldn't cause the issues he's having.

I think maybe the MAP and TPS plugs got mixed up. Next guess would be to re-check cam timing. The compression test numbers may or may not point to the timing being like a tooth off.

set block to TDC then make sure the marks on the side(not the "up marks") meet

This time is wrong!!!

put the damper at TDC and the cams gears side lines facing.

now: Your intake is advance and exhaust retard one tooth.
