I was told that he went home a day or two after the incident and is ok.

Read a report on it, hes recovering now. Whoever built the cage needs to take this video and show it to all customers that question the workmanship. 20 flips and the roof didn't cave in, thats quality.

Who ever built that cage deserves a medal.

Pictures won't do it justice, because the cage was chopped to get me out. The cage was almost completely undamaged except for the right front corner. There was a sight bend there, but no serious deformation.

When I had the cage originally built, I asked Autopower to build a cage to survive a 200 MPH wreck at Bonneville. They told me it took some extra time to figure out how to tie it into the chassis since the Insight is aluminum. It held up perfectly. My injuries were either from the G-forces or my arms and legs bumping into stuff.

Holy ******* ****. One second its rocketing down the course, the next, it strips and ejects all its organs.
Glad youre okay. I think its time to give your cage builder a hug for a job well done.

Glad to see you are ok. Hate to see cages tested at all like this, great to see them pass with flying colours.
