There are several that has gone 9's, off the top of my head, Jason Hunt's CRX among others. Evo's has been 8's on 62mm's.

That was a car out of Miami, I think it was built at TD Autowerkes. It was parted out a few years back.

I wouldnt see why not. Im trying to. In my car a 9 can be done with 650whp and a 6262 is more than capable of making that kind of power and have a fat powerband. Im actually gonna try this weekend to hit a high 10 on 205/50/15 Hankook Ventus HR's.

Been 6.6@115 in a 2540lb DC2 on a 6262 non CEA. Should have been a 9.8-9.9 but 4th gear said FU and broke.

Not a 6262, but my buddy is on an s362 bw turbo and ran 6.54 and trapped 119 in the 1/8th then blew up 4th gear. He said it should have easily been a 9 sec pass if 4th gear wouldn't have went, but he plans on going back with a dogbox soon. I would like to know what are the chances of 8's on a 62mm...

Didn't Fred Morales (CUBISH) go 9's on a 6262 in his coupe? May have been a 6265, I can't remember correctly.

You'll hit a 9 on your 6262 Magic. Don't worry about it. Turn it up and let it rip.

This excites me!

Are these cars around 2400lbs?

What could I expect out of a car weighing under 2000lbs?

Most of the 62mm cars i'm seeing around here are anywhere from 2100-2300 pounds. I put together a 2480 pound civic sedan on a 6266 before the end of the season. Only made a few hits at the track but saw 117 in the 1/8th and 152 at the end.
