Hello! My names Jud, u may have seen my sedan around. Im almost done with the full shave n tuck and now im finishing up the turbo kit etc. qwik run down... 90 sedan w/ b18a1 swap. Fully shaved n tucked w/ obd1 chasebays harness. What was once an ebay turbo kit, but i ended up upgrading almost everything. I ll be dyno tuned on neptune w/ 91 octane.

My questions- Its time to make my fuel lines n i dnt know much( i do paint n body) Behind my firewall theres a total of 3 fuel line, 2 together n one behind the steering area. Im running aem fuel rail and fpr. Jus need to know what lines do wat, where they go, n how would i go about hooking it all up?? I ll try n post pics

-Do i need an o2 sensor or map sensor? Where is the map sensor?

Thats basically it for now... Please dont talk ****, like i said im a paint n body guy n dnt have much experiance in doin such technical stuff.. Im simply lookin for help and answers to finish up.... Thx

In no particular order:
Fuel vapor pipe going to charcoal canister, fuel feed pipe going to fuel filter, and fuel return pipe somewhere behind the fuel pressure regulator.

Are you changing the lines or just trying to hook it up? Don't forget a fuel filter in there. Anyways, the chap above posted a lovely photo.

You need a MAP sensor. It is on the firewall. You may need to upgrade it depending on the boost level you plan on running. 8-10 PSI is all the stock MAP is good for and I wouldn't push 10 just incase there are spikes.

The O2 sensor is up to you. I prefer to have an O2 sensor so that when you aren't in boost, you can get decent mileage and it makes it more forgiving if there are 'weak' spots in your tune or something like that. But if it's a rock solid tune, you can run open loop and forget the O2.

You can try the forced induction subforum and the FAQ section there. But I would love this thread to stay here to see pictures of the build.

Wow very helpful! Thx! Okay so I will be making all new lines in the bay using the stock lines behind the firewall. I see most guys use 1 line w/ an inline filter which is my plan. Im jus tryin to understand how that works if theres 3 lines?? Im gettin ready for wekfest in dec. so budget is tight now n time is short...

I tried to post pics but was unsuccessful

Also, do I have to run the charcoal canister? I guess if so I can just connect it behind the firewall correct??

Well, think about what those things do. You wanna ensure that your injectors get clean fuel (there is crap in your tank accumulated over the years) so that is a reason for the filter. Harmful fuel fumes get dispatched to charcoal canister which prob. absorbs some of them and dissipates what is left to the atmosphere - fuel tank needs it, and mother nature thanks you for that one - but why would you place something that you know is toxic behind the firewall - closer to you? And finally, the return line - no science here - what is unused it comes back to the tank - there is no need to filter it before it gets mixed with fuel in a tank, and charcoal canister is for vapors (duh!) which get in the end expelled out of the vehicle. There is no better place for it, than where it already is in my opinion. Of course you will see builds with relocated or deleted canister, and relocated filter all for looks. That depends on your priorities.

I'll second this. You really want to keep it as close to factory as you can unless you are going for looks. Everything from the factory has a function and there is no reason to delete it for 'performance,' if that is your goal.
