Due to long exposure under the sun the top portion of the rear seats has this bluish look to it. Anyway to restore it to black? Like shoe polish or whatever?

 

Never seen them fade but...there might be some suede cleaners and shoe stores?

just be careful as it will rub off onto your clothes.....

let it cure for a day...and then clean the area well

 

Nah, they are the "top portion" of the rear seats. I don't see on top of seats.

i have the same prob

 

My rear hatch is tinted and I have my seats folded down

 

i have that problem too, I only get pissed when i'm putting something into the trunk

You should invest in tint..

I say NO to tint though.

not hair dye......markers leave streaks and some leave a shine

there is fabric dye..... try that out

 

1) Take em out.
2) Buy a set of good condition JDM rears.

Install a cage, and proceed to cut holes through the faded rear seats.

Lol...these rears were out for a year doing nothing but act as a ghetto couch in my room. I want o sell them, that's why I want them to look decent.

 

You could buy new rear seats or rub really hard with carpet cleaner. After that use a car cover. I've had mine under one for 2 1/2 years. All the worn/faded interior bits in my ITR are are due to use, not sunbathing.
