So last night I finally got a chance to change out my rear hub assembly. Over the alst few weeks I got the nasty WHHIRRRR noise from the bearing going out. Anyway, during the install, when I was sliding the new hub assembly on the spindle, the outer (facing me) bearing got caught and separated as I pushed the hub assembly on. So I went to pull it back off and then the inner (towards the car) portion of the bearing got stuck on the spindle.. Very WTF kinda moment. So I got both of them and put them back in the hub on their respected sides and put it on and torque down the axle nut.
So my question is, can this be a problem in the future? Or Are they able to be separated like that? So far Ive driven to work and the noise is gone and there was no issue that I could see/hear thus far...
Thanks

Autozone Duralast. Has lifetime warranty. Just getting peoples opinions if it sounds like itll be a forsure future issue or not, if not im gonna see how it goes. If so, ima pull it and go exchange it under warranty.
