Just got this car & already found a problem. headlights,brake lights,dash lights & turn signals all work, but no running lights. Also,when I use LEFT turn signal, brake lights flash like hazard lights. Is the wiring crossed? How can I fix this? Thanks for any help!

 

Sedan or coupe?

 

Either melted wires somewhere or wrong bulbs installed

 

It's a coupe. I'll check the bulbs. Why would the lights flash only with the left signal?

 

...in the front parking lights. These should be double filament not single filament bulbs because they dually serve as turn signals.

 

Most likely bulbs, sylvania has a guide with all the bulb types on it.

 

Also check the taillight ground in the trunk area, it should be Behind the plastics, or carpet trim

 

I'm going to check everything this weekend but can anyone explain why just the left turn signal triggers the flashing hazards? Also, the double filament bulbs are the same in the rear as in the front, right?
