Battery???
Been pondering batteries for awhile now for my 1990 Honda CRX with 3rd gen ZC swap, I'm interested in an Odyssey battery but so far I'm skeptical, anyone use one in their car? A Dural St Gold battery has 625 cranking amps and weighs 27.8 pounds, the odyssey PC 680 has 520 cranking amps and weighs 15.4 pounds, their PC950 has 950 cranking amps and weighs 20 pounds, the car will never be driven in cold conditions, anything below 35-40ish degrees and I put it up for the winter, the goal of the car is to be fun to drive but still get good gas mileage and be as low maintenance as possible, anyone have any insight here? Is the odyssey battery worth it or should I stick with a trusty lead acid battery?
520CA is plenty for something of that nature. The main question here is whether the money justifies the weight savings, in which case I would say NO. Not 100% sure on what the Oddyssey warranty is but I know Duralast or Autocraft Gold are 3 yr Free Replacement and made by Johnson Controls. Can't really go wrong there...
Go to walmart and get the biggest battery, relocate it to the trunk. Weighs 30 lbs with tons of power. Done.
The weight shouldn't matter. Honestly, I still use walmart batteries. 3 year free replacement and 2 additional years pro-rated. They never hassle you. I've had bad luck with Nappa, they tend to make you prove that the battery is bad. Same with the autoparts stores. They will charge it for free, but never replace it unless their machine says it has a dead cell. I suggest Walmart or Honda's batteries. They come with a 100 month warrenty I think. $108 from the dealer.

I had a 60 pound Optima battery in my trunk, not doing that again, sure there was always enough power but far too much battery for such a small engine, I've found odyssey batteries for $150, a Duralast gold battery is $125 plus tax, has anyone actually used an odyssey battery or have any experience with them at all?
