Oil/Sludge all over transmission side of engine bay
I've posted on here quite a bit the past few weeks while I work on my 90 si crx, and I'm back for more advice.
I popped my hood this morning, and discovered a sluge had been almost splattered on the transmission side of my engine bay, covering the cv axle, transmission housing, suspension, and to some extent the starter. The car has a b16a with a YS1 transmission, so keep that in mind when viewing the pictures below. I have jacked it up the best I could (Scissor Jack
), and started cleaning off the buildup in an attempt to find where this is coming from. From first glance, it looks as if it is originating from where the cv axle connects to the differential, but that may just be me being optimistic and subconsciously protecting myself from the idea that I somehow cracked my transmission housing...
Here's some pics. Im still working on cleaning it up and inspecting it, but I figured I'd post here first to see if anyone had any insight into this issue.

Inspect your CV boot. The sludge looks like the grease that is packed into the CV joints.
When the boot tears, it flings the grease all over the place.

There is a small tear (about 3/4 inch) on the boot. So you are probably correct. Once again honda-tech member saves my day.
These CV's are off of a DA integra, but will any B-series Passenger-side CV axle fit the same?
Thanks!
