Within the last month my gsr has been acting up. Its basically stock aside from intake, and exhaust. It has new plugs and wires that are no more than a year old. The first time it stalled out i was sitting in traffic and it just shut off. It took a good 5 minutes of cranking it over for it to start again. About a week ago while i was driving it started bogging (almost sounded like a misfire, but not sure if that's what i heard) Yesterday i pulled out of an intersection went to shift from first to second and it died. Again it took a good few minutes of cranking to get it to start again and then seemed to run fine. I have a neptune rtp so i checked for codes but nothing new other than my o2 heater and i have never had an o2. I am leaning towards a distributor but i don't want to play guessing games and spend money unnecessarily. Any suggestions on what else i can test?

 

Well, under further investigation i heard a squeaking noise under the hood (originally thought it was coming from the intake) But its actually the vac line going to the pcv valve that is collapsed while the engine is running. So im hoping a bad pcv valve is my issue!
