Default z6 block with y7 head...timing, part numbers wrong?

im using a z6 block with a y7 head. why? because going fast without vtec is cooler than going fast with vtec..its gonna be built and boosted..

ordered a blue gates belt. it says it fits a z6 y8 or y7. but honda oem belts have different part numbers from z6 to y8/77? assuming y7 and y8 are the same

i also ordered water pump and tensioner for y7/y8 engine

is this gonna work?

The timing belts for the Z6/Y7?Y8 are all 104 tooth so they're interchangable. The water pumps are also interchangable, the 1.5 SOHC are different due to the shorter deck heitght. Couldn't tell you on the tensioner.

I always thought 1.6 were all same and 1.5 was different.
