Default Quarter panel repair 98 tegg

Hello, new to the fourms just picked up a 98 ls tegg, came here about getting some advice on repairing the quarter panel. I know Its going to need a new panel welded in just wondering if its worth the cost, and what the going rate is on replacing it? Its a shame cause the rest of the car is pretty clean, its either the new beater or new project what do you guys think?

So I priced one 800 bucks online and a body shop quoted me 800 bucks to cut and weld.

For a beater I wouldn't even spend 1600$ on the repair!
For a beater, I'd bang it out from the inside as much as I could and smooth it out with bondo..
Or for a beater too if leave it like that.

If you're looking for a good car, if try the bondo method first,
Way cheaper. And if you're set on a clean car.
I'm sure a body shop could pull it out and fix it for you

Doesn't look like it needs the whole panel.
Looks like front fender is dented too

Agreed, I'll bang it out and winter beat it. There is some clean quarters in the junkyard that have been tempting me but it would probably be cheaper to buy a clean tegg thanks for the help everyone!
