Default my weekend. some great some bad (pics)

k well the spring that holds on the throwout berring unclipped itself on one side last week. friday i got around to pulling the trans and fixing it. sure **** the spring unclipped itself on one side. put that back on there put trans back on. adjusted the clutch cable. clutch felt weird as hell. like it doesnt engage.

i was able to aquire a d16a6 head, cam and valvetrain which was ported polished and milled as a very good price. threw that on:

take the car out for a spin. clutch engages for ****. im guessing that the disc wore all screwey after driving on it for a week with a throw out berring that never really disengaged. if it gets better great if not new clutch.

but. im leaking oil like a **** near the driver side motor mount. it is not coming from the head gasket. it apears to be coming from behind the bracket.:

the leak does not come from the circled area but from some where near where the aarow points. lie underneath that bracket for the mount. im clueless as to whats going on there. any ideas?

car hauls *** tho =P

adjust the cable some more and see if it fixs the problem.

fixed the leak. was on my way to class 75mph 5th gear @ 4000rpm car started hesitating like a ****. thought the timing belt was slipping. took it back. t-belt is fine. pulled the cam gear and guess what. no cam seal. put my old on on there no more leak. so i lost a quart of oil in 3 miles on the freeway. good time to skip class . clutch still sucks. mabey it'll ware itself and fix itself (prolly not) oh well
