99 hatch - CKf bypass performed - p1337 still here
this is a 1999 civic hatch USDM
originally came with a y7, now has a y8, and running with a y8 manual ecu to match.
did not throw the code before y8 was pulled from previous car. threw code after installed, after fix1, and after fix2.
this car will not rev past 4200....
any insight?

and why would you not tie into the CKP, when the writeups tell you to tie into the CYP?
from the looks of it, the cyp is 1 pulse per revolution of the cam, where the CKP is 24 pulses per revolution of the cam?

Why did you do the bypass and not just plug and play? Both engines have the CKF. What troubleshooting did you do before the bypass?
checked for broken wires in the loom, checked continuity (present) through harness to sensor, performed the bypass after sensor deemed inop.
