Icon6 1980 Accord dies

Hey there. I have a 1980 Honda Accord Sedan Automatic with only 48,000 miles on it. A few days ago the idle started to drop while sitting at a red light and died. The only way I could get it to restart was by pushing the gas pedal all the way to the floor and cranking it. It seems that it only happens when it is warm and it happens in in all gear positions. It feels like there is a miss as well. I have replaced all the plugs, wires, coil, cap, and rotor. I have also checked for vacuum leaks. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I would guess its carb related. Maybe give it a good cleaning (or replace with a Weber if you can swing it).

Sounds like maybe your choke is sticking shut. Warm up your car and take off the air cleaner lid and see if the choke plate is still shut. Maybe try to open it up with a screwdriver or something see if it moves.
