Default Tried using p2t ecu, both no start

I'll start off with most detail I can. When I got my 00 Integra GSR Sedan It was running a p28, with a obd2b to obd1 jumper. And a b16a2 swap. I got a p2t from a friend, who let me know he wasn't sure if the p2t worked. So a week after I got it, I tried it, with no luck starting. So i continued to use my p28. About a week ago I odered a p2t from ebay. Got it today, installed it, no start. Do I keep getting bad ECUs? Or is it my car not wanting to run the p2t? Here's a pic of my ignition(how I got it, and a pic of my p2t plugged in and my p28 with jumper harness. With the ignition I'm wondering why these 4 wires are not hooked up.

Not sure if this helps but check the fuel pump relay pinout

OP why do you want a p2t when you have(I assume) a chipped p28 ?

It's a virgin p28(I know wrong ecu). Thats why I'm trying to get a p2t, so I can have the correct ecu. Why check the pinout for the fuel pump? If the p28 runs it fine, but the p2t doesnt even start it? Bad ecu? or bad ignition? The wires unplugged/cut near the igntion the issue? I'm stumped since the p28(vigin) runs it fine.

Pin A15=factory fuel pump relay pinout location for all 00-01 DC Integra's
Pin A16=factory fuel pump relay pinout location for all 99-00 EK Civic's

Its just a thought

good to hear I think you'll be fine it's hard to tell what those e loose wires are tho. I had a VFAC spliced in by the p/o undid it and had left over wires car runs fine tho.

Alright. Thanks... B16a2 run 2 o2 sensors though right? If it has trouble it should throw cel codes though right?

Thanks for your help so far :D

The fuel pump relay wire location should be the only difference (besides the IAB location, which doesn't apply to your situation). I ran into this a while back and stumbled upon the solution when I looked at a wiring diagram.

Just for info: conversion harnesses have the fuel pump relay wire in both pin locations so that the harness will work on civics and integras.

Em1 ECUs do have functions for 2 O2 sensors...and yes,it will throw a light if both O2 sensors aren't plugged in.

Alright thanks. Do the 00 gsr have two o2 sensors also?

Btw I notice the p2t pulls a lot more then the p28. Which I love

Alright. Now that is answered. I did notice a plug near the cat(But I have no cat). My harness was replaced recently. How does that plug near the cat connected to the harness? I didn't install the harness, a friend did. So I wouldn't know if it got unplugged or cut off somehow. I tried contacting my friend but he's unreachable.

the plug goes into the car above the cat. you'll see a hole in the floor.

Ok. I guess I wasn't clear so I'm going to discribe with more detail.

The Harness was replaced due to fire. With a exact same year/make/model/obd2b harness. I had my friend do the harness replacement. About a month ago when I was changing the oil. I noticed the o2 cat sensor plug just dangling. So It made me wonder. How is that o2 cat plug connected to the new harness? Did my friend just cut the wire that leads to the o2 cat sensor plug from the old harness and not re-wire it to the new harness?

Basically How is that o2 cat sensor connected to the harness? Something else I'm wondering...Since I have no cat(strait pipe, No o2 emissions in my state), will the second o2 cat sensor read wrong and give me trouble with no cat?

Thanks for you responses so far! Been very helpful!

You might ask your friend what he did to the harness. The 2nd O2 sensor does not affect fuel trim. It only serves as a monitor to make sure the cat is working. So unless there are other circuits tied into it....it won't affect anything to have it unplugged...but you will get a CEL.

I have a 2000 integra with a b16a2 and a p2t ecu, would the wires the plug into the ecu affect it from starting or do I need the ecu wires that come with the engine?
