Default CR-V suspension * anything and everything suspension*

I know there's a V thread already but figured I'd make one strictly for suspension. Pictures a plus. How is everyone going about dropping or lifting their V's

Or you can at least scrape the lifted thread before expecting everyone to add the info they already posted a few times elsewhere.

-96-00 Civic stock front shocks
-Stock rear CRV shocks
-aluminum shock tops that extended shock travel 2"
-Typical eBay aluminum coilover sleeves for 88-00 Civic.
- Summit Racing 7" tall 2.5" diameter coilover springs. Spring rates are 550 in/lb front and 350 in/lb rear. Incredibly perfect rates for this thing. Full coilover kits run way too high of a rate.
-Generic eBay adjustable rear camber arms. (not installed in pictures, rear camber out of wack).
-Shaved front upper control arms.
-99-00 Civic Si front/rear sway bar bushings.
-17x9" wheels with 28mm offset and a 215/45 Falken tire.

I think the lifted thread covers that topic very well. I wouldn't object to a lowered thread that covers those options

Im new to the CRV thing. Im rather glad this thread is here.
Ive looked into the lowering, asked a question in the pic thread (and got my answer)

But a friend of mine has a 99 with immaculate leather interior. Ill be buying it after the holidays and looking to make a DD out of it. Lowering, wheels/tires,tint and stereo is all ill be doing.

Im looking forward to seeing more on this thread.

I ran Form & Function type 2's on mine from a integra. Drove really nice and was not bouncy at all.

What model integra?

DC5? was it plug and play or did you have to do some modding?
Did the top hats fit?

96-00 civic koni sport front shocks
1995 eclipse rear kyb agx shocks with metal bushing to fit the stock bolt
Megan coilover sleeves ebay would of worked because i ended up buying stiffer srpings
Front 600 lb 2.5 spring
Rear 500 lb 2.5 spring
Homemade rear sway bar almost 1 inch solid rod
Homemade front strut bar as well
Toyo open country at2 215/75/15
Having a 75 sidewall reads the mph more correct
It rode like it was on rails

by buying either megan or ksports coilovers or using the element coilover but you need to switch out the tie rod ends into element ones. thats what i have found so far.

Any lowering springs? Are coilovers easy to use on these?
