98 Civic 1.6 Misfiring
So, I was just cruisin down the highway pushin some high rpms goin 110 for a while then all of a sudden my check engine light started flashing. Shitty. It was misfiring obviouslly. So i pulled over checked it out and seemed fine. So i drove it back home and it sounded like a V8. I checked all the plugs and wires. Still have yet to check the distributor and rotor. but the spark plug in cylinder 1 had alot of carbon buildup on it which makes me thing that the injector for cylinder 1 is injecting too much fuel. I plugged it into an OBD and it said that misfires were detected in every cylinder. It still runs (shitily) though so all of them arent dead. Could this be a timing belt issue or would it be fuel related (injector, pump, or filter)? i'm stuck on this and don't want to keep driving on a misfiring engine. However, if it dies then i have an excuse to get that S2k. lemi know

The codes were like p0301 302 303 and 304 so it was detecting a misfire in all the cylinders. I just recentlly like maybe 3 or 2 months ago replaced my distributor cap, rotar, plug wires, and plugs. But, i took it to a garage just to get it looked at and they said that the distributor looked like it was archinging outside of the cap.
same **** happened to me 3 weeks ago on my 96 civic, turns out my timing was off and my sprak plug wires were bad, but think of things that effect all cylinders , google code p0300 and see what effects all cylinders and go from there, good luck
p.s a cleaning of spark plugs/wires could always help
