Washer Fluid Not Working
Hey all. I drive a 2000 Integra. So I just recently filled my washer fluid with winter grade (-25c) rated fluid. It worked fine the first day, but the second day I noticed the fluid wasn't pumping out. I checked the container, and I'm pretty sure the fluid is frozen.
I haven't had a chance to flush it all out etc., but my bigger concern is that I noticed when I tried to use the fluid, I didn't hear the pump going at all. I even had a friend listen with the hood up.
The way I see it...it can't be a blown fuse, because according to the fuse chart, the same fuse controls both the wiper and the fluid spray (the wipers still move). So, could the motor be wrecked? What are the odds of both front and rear motors failing at the same time? Could the fact that the fluid froze inside the container have caused both motors to break?
Any help/insight would be appreciated as I know jack-**** about cars.
Thanks

Now-a-days, electrical motors have internal "current" over load circuitry.
When the motor is asked to perform, it heats up. When it gets too hot, it gets shut down by that circuitry.
Don't burn up your motors, instead get the car into the garage and the fluid will thaw.
