Go buy 4 nuts 4 bolts and 8 washers. Line the bar up so it sits on the tower and is even and straight. Mark the holes. Jack up car. Drill the holes. Bolt in place. Just did it w/ a type r bar on my eg.
You shouldn't need to drill ANYTHING on a 92-95 Civic chassis.......please don't hurt your car!!
You just undo the 4 nuts, install the bar, and reinstall the four nuts on top of the bar. You may want washers, and possibly longer bolts.

for 92-95 si hatch you dont need to drill holes.there are 4 black ruber things.just take them off.for other 92-95 civics you have to drill holes.

Anyone got a pic of these little black hole covers that your talking about. It looks like you have to drill holes and bolt it up with new bolts. on my car at least you can see the indexes for the holes but they are not there.
not all 92-95 civics have the holes for the factory tower brace. if the car in question does not have the holes then you will need to make them.
my 95 coupe didnt have the holes drilled but you could see where they were supposed to be cause they were covered up w/ paint.. not hard at all to do.. easy cheap mod and the gsr strut bar works fine for now.. why spend all the $$ on on dc sports when cheaper can be better?
all si's came predrilled
most coupes and 4 dr's i ahve seen have the dimples for where to drill

my 92 cx have holes already, theres a rubber cover on it. how much do gsr strut bars cost anyways.
about the screws, just go to home depot, i'm sure they'll have the right size

Will a JDM GSR strut tower bar clear a GSR motor in an Eg hatch?
I'm not even sure if I have the holes or not, but I want one
You guys notice a BIG difference with the bar in place?

Man seems like they only drilled out the holes in whatever they filled like. I had a 94 cx hatch and it had the holes with the rubber plugs. I recently put this bar on my 97 dx coupe and i had to drill the holes. No big deal if you have to drill. Whole install takes maybe 20 minutes. I have the gsr bar backwards and a skunk 2 in front of that. I was bored. No pics though.
