Acceleration Problem Acura Integra GSR
Okay so I've tried to search this problem but I can't get the words right because i'm being way too specific. Tried searching forums and Google but nothing is coming up.
Anyways my problem is, once in awhile I'll start driving and I'm in second gear or first gear (I think I can't recall if it has happened in first but mostly in second gear). The rpm would increase normally to say 2,000/3,000 rpm but suddenly just stick there, the car would not go any faster no matter how much gas I put in, it'll last for about 5-7 seconds then suddenly go back to normal. It does not happen all the time, it happens very randomly, I always warm up my car before driving, there's always more than a quarter tank of gas in the car (91 of course). I'm guessing this might be a transmission problem? Transmission fluid could be the problem? Although I had changed the fluid about 14,XXX miles ago.

Any cell's/mods done ? 2nd sounds TPS related check for any dead spots and that it's to spec. this is not a transmission issue more then likely electrical. so nothing even when you floor it ?

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
This might be distributor or fuel related. A faulty MAP or TPS will make the car run too rich rather than lean out and stop making power. Pop your distributor cap and look for corrosion or moisture.
Is the check engine light on? If so...for what?

Hmm might be distributor related, the last guy that had my car put some distributor on it. I'm assuming because in the process of changing the cap and rotor, the cap did not even fit, it was too big for the distributor I had on the car. CEL is on for missing knock sensor.
Not really, it has a fuel rail with I believe is stock injectors, it does although have an aftermarket intake manifold. I'm actually pretty sure it's the TPS now that I look at it, it does not look OEM and looks like it's very poorly done. Probably put on when the last owner changed the throttle body. I'm almost certain he didn't adjust it to the right setting.. Problem is I have no idea how to do that.
