Default CRX Si trans vss stuck

I bought a complete zc swap for my crx, ended up missing a bunch of crap.
Trying to pull the vss on my old si tranny and put it on the new one but it won't budge. does the the the tranny have to be removed to get the vss out?

1 10mm bolt, then just wiggle it out. Tranny does not need removed.

Tried that....

I removed that 10 mm bolt and the arm that keeps the vss in place. I'm not that dumb haha

I recently had the problem with LS trans. I had to remove some things that were in the way and wrestle it with a huge pair of vice grips and pb. it was REALLY stuck in there, sometimes they don't just come out.

The O-ring on the housing will swell to prevent leakage, so it will be difficult to remove if the area was not kept clean. A corrosion ridge will form just above the O-ring, making removal very difficult. This happens with a lot of parts with O-ring bores.
