I've been looking up how to test my relay switch and they keep saying test #7. well I don't have a #7 on mine. Another thing is when I took my relay switch out there was another relay box with nothing in it. So how do I test this switch so I can rule this out.

 

"Relay switch".......there are many relays on these. Can you tell us "which" relay you are testing.......also, a bit of history of the car and the issue you are having wouldn't hurt.
