Is removing the resonator on the stock air intake better than an eBay short ram intak
I was wondering if the removal of the resonator on a stock d16y8 air intake is better than buying an eBay short ram intake? What would be the better option? I've also seen people get some k&n box to put on their stock intake. Will the removal of the resonator make it loud? Thanks

No power gain. It will sound slightly more pronounced on acceleration. Some of the eco-modding guys do it for one or two extra mpg. Only benefit from the k&n that you will see is basically never having to change the filter.

I put the ebay intake in the stock airbox and remove the resonator, its like a super cheap version of a comptech
