91 Hatch Vibrations
Got a b16a swapped EF hatch in a trade and my god does it vibrate. When I adjusted it lower, it got worse.
I've put in new axles, spindles, and wheel bearings. Stillreally bad. Also double checked traction bar and it seems fine.
What else could it be?

Id say its most likely your motor mounts causing the vibrations more than anything else. Is it causing any steering wheel shake or no? And since you have a traction bar that prob doesnt help the situation either. Here is a link where people are talking about the cons to running solid mounts even though its an rsx they are talking about it still applies to all cars running them. http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=830086

Are the wheels balanced properly? Tires matched in size and brand? Old tires can cause a world of vibrations and properly imbalanced ones do not help either. Maybe some wheel weights fell off. I would try that first and go from there.

I put 4 new rims and tires balanced on and problem is still there.
And your motor mount shpeal isn't advice. I need a mechanic that knows what they're doing, not a kid that browses a forum attempting to help people by guessing and not diagnosing.
By the way, problem was DA axles in the EF hatch + lowering = bottomed out axles, smartass.

Glad you firgured out the issue! Secondly give more info in your first post. When I asked about the vibration you said its all the time. To me all the time means idle and while the car is driving. If it was only during driving then in your first post you should have explained that and would have been able to give better advice. I dont see why people hate on others when they give them advice. If you dont want advice of others then dont post on the forums. Because Im going to reply. I love to learn about new things and new problems so if you have a problem with it then keep it to yourself.
Not all of us are kids just piping off with random things we have read on the internet. Personally I am a shade tree mechanic armed with helms service manuals and Honda forums for 8+ years lol
Thanks man. Im honestly on here to just learn. Ive been quiet on here for almost three years just reading thread after thread. I may not always be right with the things that I respond with but you always have to start somewhere and different insight is always good. And Im far from a kid lol. Im 28 years old lol..
DA axles were the problem? I have ABS DA axles on my 91 Si with a b16 and non-abs DA axles on my 91 LX with a b16 also and they have worked perfect for a long time now. How were they bottoming out? I'm just curious because I've never read about this causing a vibration issue and would like to know more. Not questioning your fix.
