Hey guys. I have a 1989 CRX dx, w/ a 1.5l single cam. Need to know how to test my fuel pump, and need to know how to check codes. I looked for the code box under my drivers seat but its not there. any feedback will help

Quickest test to see if the fuel pump is working is the turn the key and listen for a humming sound from the rear of the car right behind the two front seats.

 

the ECU is under the carpet on the passenger side - OBD0 D-series ECUs only have short flashes, not long and short - just count the number of flashes between pauses and that is the code - be aware that you may have more than one code - to reset the ECU, remove the hazard/ECU fuse from the underhood fuse box (located at the top of the row of fuses closest to the firewall) for about 20 seconds and then replace the fuse
