I have a 90 Integra GS Sedan. I'm looking for information on whether or not I could swap out any of the suspension/steering parts off of my wrecked 91 Honda civic DX Sedan. Just looking at them it appears that we would be able to switch out most of it, Im just looking for verification.

But it does not say whether or not it is the same if you are trying to swap from a 91 civic sedan to a 90 integra 4 door.. please let me know if it is possible to swap the suspension ans steering systems with little to no modification.

 

What exactly are you trying to switch over?

 

What specific components are you looking to change over ?

 

Pretty much the whole front suspension and drive axles. Or as much as is compatable. there isnt any specific part that needs replaced. Pretty much the whole front end is shot.I just bought the Integra recently and we were servicing it and noticed how bad everything looked up close.

 

well for the driveshaft's if your 91 civic had a d-series then count those out and I think the upper control arms aren't swap able the strut assembly will be. any other part ?

 

Ya it had a d series engine. i don't know off hand what other parts I need to know about because Im not really the mechanic. Im just doing the research and learning as I go. Both car are factory in pretty much every way.

 

I hate myself for not being able to be more specific. I feel pretty useless and it's my car. My best bet is probably going to be trying a salvage yard huh?

 

salvage or cheap "OE-replacemant". post pics of what you want to replace even if you don't know the name we can help ID them.

OH how about the rack and pinion and tie rods

 

Should be interchangeable idk if you've ever heard of people swapping DC integra steering racks into EG's, So yes I would say so tbh that's a lot of work ahead of you going to pull the engine to do the rack swap ? obd1 so it's like 8 sensors to disconnect in all lol

 

lol yeah.. we are gonna do anything required to make a smooth rides agian. Ill post pics when we start actually pulling stuff apart and figuring out what actually needs to be swapped. I just needed a general yes or no, thank you for helping me with as little info as I have.
