Default Manual swap from auto

I'm swapping a auto eg sedan to a manual. My question is that since the auto mount isn't the same I see a lot of people getting a converter mount why won't the oe manual mount work? Also in not quit sure if I just do brake and clutch if I have to do the throttle cable or not can anyone verify?

if you look at an auto trans mount location it slants up towards the hood. the manual is straight and level. there is about 1" +/- of gap between the 2 mounts.

also make sure you buy one for an EG. eg and dc auto/manual swap have diff mounts for each chassis

the mount is the conversion along with making a jumper wire at the old auto shifter plug so that your reverse lights will work

I see well what about the throttle cable? Will it be able to be used or will I need a new one if I'm just swapping brake pedals and adding the clutch

You can use the OEM 5 speed upper trans mount if you also drill the spot welds out of the bracket welded to the frame rail and replace it with one from a '92 - '95 5 speed civic.

No. The automatic throttle cable is different at the pedal end. You can either keep the automatic pedal and original throttle cable (this wont feel quite right, it'll be a bit springy due to the way it's made to kick down into passing gear on an automatic. Or you can swap all 3 pedals and the throttle cable.
