GP1 Racing/Rstech all motor car finally goes 9's
Where do I start, after having a few days to reflect on this past weekend itstill feels surreal. I went into the weekend with high expectations, but neverin my wildest dreams did I think it would end up like it did.
Like everyone in the class, the 9 second barrier is a big accomplishment andhas been a goal of mine since 2011. Before WCF my previous PB was a 10.19@127 and was looking to better that. Sowe made some changes to the motor program and decided to drink the snozberryjuice (FTW Red). Dyno results were very promising and that put added pressureto break in the 9's, along with a Dick Punch by Jake Gavio if I didn't.
After a rain delayed Friday, 1st qualifier was finally here and I was eggerto get the run over with. Finally the pass was over I was saying to myselfplease be it please be it. The drive to get my timeslip seemed totake forever, but after seeing 9.96@136 Iscreamed like a little girl yelling F bombs all the way back to the pits.
I told myself I was totally satisfied with the weekend and could go homeright now. That night Jake and I said lets line up for 2nd qualifier and do the1st side by side 9 second pass in history. Of course the dream weekendcontinues with Jake going 9.87 to my 9.97.
But, the dream weekend wasn't over by any means. How about a all Rstech Racing final with Jake taking the with in the fastest side by side pass in class history 9.75 to 9.87. Finished the weekend with five passes and five 9 second timeslips.
I have so many people and sponsors to thank.

It was awesome to work with you and on the car this season. I personally learned a lot about these types of cars and the sensitivity to the.
For me the moment that I told you just run the car and beat you know who and the rest will follow was the moment I knew it was going to be a good day. That was always I know this year running against the biggest headache and anoiance for you. And when you over came it with that time just made me say hell yea its game MF ON..
it was a great season for you and keep going strong. Hopefully I will have the chance to work with you and the cars again this coming new year.

Congrats Marc on your PB and nice job staying consistent. That last video really showed that Jakes Car is making some serious power. Both of you guys had really clean runs but he was not being caught that's for sure.
