Hi so iv removed and inspected my sunroof motor and its working properly.... but i rolled it back and when i went to close it it went an inch and popped the fuse. iv checked my wiring and replaced the switch and the relay it runs off but i keep popping the damb fuse.... so i powered it my self with a battery and jumper wires and closed the window any clues would help my coworkers and i dont have time to keep ripping it apart and checking wires, connections, and voltage. please help thank you!!

 

If the motor works when it is isolated, [powered with a batt. and jumper wires] then it is most likely an internal short.

Try this, ground the case of the motor to the batt. your using to jump with, then jump to close the roof, [you must have a fuse of the same size as the one that blows on the pos. jumper lead], if the fuse still blows, the problem is an internal short. 94
