Default Finally got to the track with my drag radials :(

Well after 2 weekends of waiting

Saturday i went to Virgina Motorsports park and ran a 11.8 at 131mph with a 1.9 60ft on my 225/50R15 hoosier drag radials

I have wilwood direct fit calipers on my integra so im limited to my wheel size, im thinking a 24.5x8x15 MT slick would help out a lot

Car is making around 520whp(before the 100 cell cat was put on) on pump gas with full interior

any feedback on what i should do??

What psi were the radials set at? How much boost were you launching at?

You can't be upset your first time out.

Some people do well with them, but in my opinion, radials are hurting an already exasperated traction problem by having FWD. Slicks and seat time will get you where you belong. How heavy is the car with you in it?

And no, you don't have to run tubes.

not sure on the car weight.... but its a 96 integra with full interior and a sound system(1 12" sub).

Im gonna switch over to my race gas tune and see how that does when i go back with slicks

get full on slicks. I'm running M&H 24.5x8x15 slicks no tubes at around 10-11psi. havent had any issues yet. get a good burnout and lots of practice. your times will drop

This! I went from 11.8 to 11.2 without changing a damn thing on the car. Just learned to drive it better. I made 517whp and had full interior as well, trapped 129.4 on the 11.2 pass. I was on slicks which helps a little, but my 60ft on that pass wasn't much better than yours 1.81. No boost by gear, 10psi on 2step, 17psi in every gear.
